Technology-Rich Learning

Technology is very important in the classroom. It can be used in so many different ways to enhance learning. As teachers our job is the use technology as a tool to support students and learning. I enjoy creating/enhancing lessons with multiple different technologies. When I was a fourth grade science teacher the lessons were based off the textbook. I had to find different activities to engage and help students learn the different concepts. One of my favorite lessons to teach was circuits. During this lessons I used multiple different programs and activities on the computer to help engage students. There we also multiple hands on activities where students created their own circuits. These activities would be spread out of a two or three week period. The textbook we used was digital so that was displayed on the interactive TV. Chat with CHATGPT about Educational Technology

I used ChatGPT for my chat about the historical development and evolution of educational technology. I choose to start the conversation by telling the chatbot that I was a graduate student in educational technology and I assign the bot the role of an educational technology professional. I did this because I wanted to get more relevant answers. Using ChatGPT is pretty simple. The information is presented in an easy to read format with sub categories to help breakup text. When I asked the chatbot "How can AI-driven tools help tailor learning experiences to individual students' needs?" It gave me the benefits and challenges to consider.
